Discussing everything from rescues, behavioural rehabilitation, training, medical treatment nutrition and many more topics. Welfare For Our Community Dogs is not an Animal Welfare Group. It is run by one person, to ensure welfare for street dogs in Singapore. One of the first things that stands out is the use of community dogs rather than street dogs or strays. This reflects the care and impact that WFOCD is creating.
Samantha has a no nonsense attitude towards doing everything she can to help the community dogs of Singapore. Whether it be working along side government bodies, reaching out to remediate with such groups as cyclists, cat feeders or anyone else who may come in conflict with the dogs, to going out every night to feed the dogs.
In this episode we cover a wide range of what she does and why. And how you can help or get involved should you have the heart for it.

In this episode we walk about one of our hosts dog, Athos. Athos started showing signs of aggression at 6 months old and they grew to the point of putting people, other dogs and of course Athos himself in real danger.
We discuss his journey to becoming a calm and confident dog who can now be used as a demo dog to help other dogs struggling with reactivity. Detailing the commitment, training and exercises used to achieve this, as well as going into the psychology of why this happened in the first place.
